Advanced Internal Bore Welding Technology
To perform a premium repair that doesn’t weaken the original equipment our experts build the worn metal back up from the inside out. We use advanced bore welding equipment which allows for Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding directly from inside the worn housing or tube joint. Bore welding equipment guarantees a consistent weld and reduces any chance of slag inclusion or imperfections. By using specialised weld heads with rotational drive alongside water cooling we can maintain efficiency without overheating the surrounding components. Bore welding ensures a crevice free joint with exceptional resistance to high pressure and long term corrosion.
Precision In Situ Line Boring
Once the damaged housing is fully reconstructed with fresh weld our engineers install advanced mobile boring equipment directly onto your machinery. We then line bore the newly welded metal, machining it perfectly back to the exact original manufacturer dimensions. Because dismantling a massive dockside crane or a heavy combine harvester is often impossible we bring our capabilities directly to your site. Performing this precision machining in situ saves you thousands in replacement parts and completely eliminates unacceptable transport delays.
